MOT booking · reg lookup, reminders, retestMOT booking software for UK garages
RevIXO brings live DVLA vehicle data and full DVSA MOT history onto every booking, reminds on official due dates, and keeps MOT pricing fixed to what the garage sets — never learned, never adjusted automatically.
A failed test. One job, start to finish.
What does MOT booking software need to get right?
A registration plate, an official due date and a statutory-capped price all need to reach the booking correctly — and a failed test needs to stay on the same job as its retest, not become a second one.
Retest fee, where one applies, sits in place of the original MOT charge — it is never stacked on top of it.
No. Where DVSA rules mean a retest fee applies, it replaces the original test charge on the same job rather than adding to it.
No. The price it quotes is bounded by the same class-aware statutory cap the garage’s own booking screen enforces.
MOT booking questions, answered.
The essentials before you book a demo.
Does RevIXO pull MOT and vehicle data automatically?
Yes. Entering the registration brings in live DVLA vehicle data and the full DVSA MOT history, attached to the booking — no separate lookup, no re-keying detail your team already has access to.
Does RevIXO learn or adjust MOT prices?
No. MOT prices stay fixed to whatever the garage sets and within the applicable statutory cap for that vehicle’s class — they’re never learned from completed jobs or adjusted automatically.
What happens if a car fails its MOT?
The booking stays open for the retest rather than closing and reopening as a new job. The fail and the eventual pass sit on the same job with the full paper trail, and the invoice raises once it passes. Where a retest fee applies, it replaces the original MOT charge rather than adding to it.
Can I book an MOT and a service together?
Yes. RevIXO supports multiple services on one booking, so an MOT and a service — or any other work — can go in as a single visit with one diary slot and a combined estimate, rather than two separate bookings.
Will I know when a customer’s MOT is due?
MOT due dates are drawn from official DVLA data and surface on the staff dashboard, so an upcoming test doesn’t rely on anyone remembering to check for it.
Can the AI receptionist book and quote an MOT?
Yes, on Professional and Growth. It books and quotes MOTs within the garage’s own rules and pricing, and never guesses a price it can’t stand behind — anything it can’t quote confidently is routed to the garage.
See MOT booking running on your own diary.
No slides. We look at your services, your diary and your setup, then show how a registration becomes a booked, priced, reminder-tracked MOT.
It runs in a browser, so there’s no new kit to install. Founding garages run free during the pilot; standard plans start at £89 per month after launch, including VAT where applicable. Onboarding is operator-assisted, and we won’t promise a setup timeframe until we know your setup.
