Founding pilot · free garage management software while it’s open

Free garage management software for 3 founding UK garages

The 3 founding pilot places run the full Professional plan — bookings, quoting, approvals, invoices, payments and the AI receptionist — free during the pilot: 90 days, extendable, no card or subscription needed. It isn’t free forever, and nothing converts to a paid plan without you.

30 days’ notice either side. Nothing converts without you.

What “free” means at RevIXO

Three founding garages get the whole product, free, for as long as the pilot runs — not a stripped-down free tier and not a time-limited trial of a lesser plan.

3 places, Professional planFree during the pilot on the Professional plan — never a cut-down free tier.
90 days, extendableThe pilot runs 90 days and can be extended — there’s no self-serve countdown pushing you to convert early.
No card, no subscriptionFounding pilot places are arranged directly with the builder — no card on file and nothing billed.
30 days’ notice, either sideYou or we can end the pilot with 30 days’ notice, and nothing converts to a paid plan without you.
No auto-conversionWhen the pilot ends, you choose a plan or you leave with your data — nothing switches to paid on its own.
Full data exportA full export is handed over whenever you leave, pilot or not — customers, vehicles, history and jobs, not just an invoice list.

What’s included, free, during the pilot

Everything on the Professional plan — the same product a paying garage runs, not a limited preview of it.

Bookings and diaryBookings, technician diary and job sheets in one place, with MOT lookup and reminders built in.
Quoting that learns your pricesEstimates built from prices and rules your own garage has approved — never invented.
Customer approvalsSend estimates and get online approval through a signed link, with no account for the customer to create.
Invoices and paymentsInvoices built from the work actually completed, with online payment the customer can opt into.
Customer portalEvery customer gets their own portal — history, invoices and advisories in one place they can log into.
AI web receptionistAnswers common enquiries on your site while you work, holding every booking as a request until your garage confirms it. The AI voice receptionist is included free during the pilot too, capped at 300 minutes a month — it’s in final live-call testing now, and founding pilot garages switch it on first.

Free garage software usually costs you somewhere

This applies whether or not you ever talk to us. If a garage tool is free, the cost has to show up somewhere — here’s what to check before you sign up for any of them.

Per-transaction feesA free plan sometimes takes a cut of every card payment or SMS you send — ask for the actual per-transaction rate, not just the headline price.
Locked exportsAsk exactly what a full export contains and in what format — a free tier sometimes lets you see your data but not take it with you.
Upsold modulesAsk which features sit behind a paid upgrade — invoicing, payments and reminders are sometimes held back from the free tier itself.
Ads and referral placementsAsk whether a free plan shows the vendor’s own ads or partner offers to your customers — on your booking confirmations or your portal.
Your data as the priceAsk what the vendor does with your customer data on a free plan — sold, shared with partners, or kept only for running your garage.
A hard cap you hit mid-monthAsk what happens once any stated allowance runs out — a hard stop, or a silent extra charge you only see on the invoice.

Who the founding pilot is for

Independent UK garages and MOT test centres, whether you run a single site or a small group.

Single-site independents

Run your booking, quoting, invoicing and customer approvals from one place, with the AI receptionist covering enquiries while you’re under a car.

MOT test centres

MOT lookup and reminders sit alongside everything else, so a Pass/Fail retest and a routine service run through the same diary.

Small multi-site groups

Growth supports up to 3 garages from one login — a founding pilot place still runs on Professional, one garage at a time.

Not a fit for every garage

RevIXO isn’t a fit if you manage jobs on a visual kanban or bay board, or want to message customers over WhatsApp — the diary is list-based, and customer messaging runs over SMS, email and the customer portal instead.

Free garage software questions, answered.

The essentials before you book a demo.

Is RevIXO really free?

Yes, for the 3 founding pilot places — full Professional-plan access, free for the length of the pilot (90 days, extendable), with operator-assisted setup and a direct line to the builder. It isn’t free forever; standard plans apply once the pilot ends, but nothing converts automatically.

Do I need a card?

No. Founding pilot places are arranged directly with the builder, with no card on file and nothing billed during the pilot.

What happens when the pilot ends?

You or we give 30 days’ notice, you get a full data export, and you choose whichever plan fits your garage. Nothing converts to a paid plan automatically.

Is there a free trial after the pilot places are taken?

Yes. Starter has a 14-day free trial with guided setup, open to any UK garage. It’s a smaller plan than the pilot’s Professional access, and Starter’s trial needs a payment card to start.

Can I export my data?

Yes, at any time, and again when you leave — a full export covering customers, vehicles, history and jobs, not just an invoice list.

Does free include the AI voice receptionist?

Yes — it’s included free during the pilot, capped at 300 minutes a month. It’s in final live-call testing now, and founding pilot garages switch it on first.

This demo is how you take one of the 3 founding pilot places.

No slides. We look at your services, your diary and your setup, then set you up free for the pilot — no card, no subscription.

  1. Book a short demo
  2. Talk through your garage, services and current diary
  3. If it’s a fit, join as a founding garage—free during the pilot, operator-assisted setup and a direct line to the builder

It runs in a browser, so there’s no new kit to install. Founding garages run free during the pilot on the Professional plan, with 30 days’ notice either side and no auto-conversion when it ends. After the pilot, standard plans start at £89 per month, including VAT where applicable. Onboarding is operator-assisted, and we won’t promise a setup timeframe until we know your setup.
